Low FODMAP Turkey Taco Bowls

Low FODMAP | Recipe


  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil use garlic infused for extra flavor!
  • 2 lbs ground turkey
  • 2 zucchini grated
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • ½ bottle Fody Taco Sauce this is an estimate, use less or more to taste

Topping Ideas

  • greens of choice chopped; I prefer a simple lettuce like romaine
  • Fody Salsa
  • cheddar cheese shredded
  • chopped tomatoes
  • low FODMAP tortilla chips crumbled


  • Cook brown rice according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add ground turkey, and cook over medium heat until no pink remains.
  • Add grated zucchini and diced peppers. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sauté for 5-10 minutes or until veggies are beginning to soften.
  • Add desired amount of taco sauce, and sauté for an additional 5 minutes or until veggies are softened to liking.
  • Now it’s time to assemble your bowl! Start with a base of brown rice, add your turkey, and finally top with your favorite toppings.
